OK. I have to tell you I thought this was an internet hoax. 115 teenage girls at one high school are either pregnant or have already become teenage mothers! What questions are we failing to ask? What options do these young ladies have? What responsibilities do we, as a society bare, for this situation?

Kseniya Simonova is a Ukrainian artist who just won Ukraine's version of "America's Got Talent." She uses a giant light box, dramatic music, imagination and "sand painting" skills to interpret Germany's invasion and occupation of Ukraine during WWII.

I have mixed feelings about directing my listeners to the posting of this video. But I think we have to understand better how such a senseless crime can occur and an innocent bystander becomes the victim of the foolishness that exists in the streets of Baltimore.

Why did one of my favorite television personalities give this man a national platform? Was he trying to expose this guy and others as right wing zealots? I just found it all very disturbing.

I had the pleasure to attend a celebration honoring my friend Larry Young for 13 years with Radio One. It was a packed courtyard on a very warm evening. The fact so many people turned out speaks to the high esteem we all hold Larry.

He taught me how to stand by your friends and he is a trailblazer in the genre of talk radio in Baltimore. I just wanted to go on the record honoring my great friend!

When I was in high school I volunteered at the local Special Olympics every year. I can recall how inspired I was by the dedication of the athletes and their families. I was amazed at the dedication of hundreds of volunteers who put in long hours with no pay to make sure that the day of the games was one the olympians would always remember.

Remember the old adage “No good deed goes unpunished?”

Was Secretary of State Hillary Clinton having a bad day? While on a visit to the Congo, the former Senator from New York turned America's chief diplomat, was asked a question about the financial influence of the Chinese in Africa.

However, the translator mistakingly interpreted the question "what does President Obama think..." to "what does the former President Mr. Bill Clinton think..." and Secretary Clinton responded with some choice words about who runs America's foreign policy.
